It is highly recommended to arrive in New Orleans at least the day before the cruise to avoid any issues with travel delays that could cause you to miss the ship. We have discounted group rates at the Springhill Suites New Orleans Convention Center localted half a mile from the cruise terminal. If you're flying into New Orleans, you can take a taxi or Uber to the hotel. On the morning of the cruise, you can walk a few blocks to the cruise terminal, or you may use a taxi or Uber. If you're driving to New Orleans, you can park at the port during the cruise.

Flights
If you are flying into New Orleans for the cruise, you can purchase your flights independently or through Carnival's Cruise Planner once you've booked your cruise. Booking through Carnival's Fly2Fun program may provide lower rates and other benefits. However, we do not have access to assist with your flights or make any changes on your behalf. Be sure to pay for your flights in full and make note of important details such as confirmation numbers and flight times. Keep an eye on your flights for any airline schedule changes.

Airport Transfers
The Port of New Orleans is approximately 16 miles from the cruise terminal downtown. Carnival offers transfers between the airport and the cruise ship on the day of embarkation (June 3) and disembarkation (June 8). Transfers can be added to your reservation through your Cruise Planner at Carnival.com/BookedGuest up to 2 days prior to the cruise. You will also need to input your flight details when adding transfers.
If you're arriving in New Orleans before June 3rd, you can take a taxi or Uber to our downtown hotel. After the cruise, you can use Carnival's one-way transfers back to the airport on June 8th, or you may consider using a taxi or Uber back to the airport.
